Marcia Meikle is the founder, chief executive officer and lead instructor of Breathewell CPR. She founded this company in 2023 in order to provide the community with life saving skills to act in emergency situations, skill such as First aid, CPR, AED, Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Marcia holds a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and a Registered Professional Nurse License from the state of New York. Her clinical training was done at Northwell Health, NYU Langone (formerly Winthrop University Hospital), Nassau Medical Center, Katz Women's Hospital and Cohen's Children Hospital. Marcia currently works as a private homecare nurse providing various medical assistance while helping the clients to remain in their homes. She is also a nurse educator for an adult daycare where she promotes clients' health by educating them, their family members and staff on disease processes, preventative measures, medical procedures and self care techniques. She works mainly with clients who are battling neurological issues such as Parkinson's Disease, Cerebral Palsy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke. Marcia is dedicated to providing excellent nursing care, immense joy and comfort to her clients. Her goal at Breathewell CPR is to train members of the community to recognize an emergency and help those in need.
